Between 1904 and 1940 each diary was themed, often using a mythological god of healing and containing information regarding the deity. These are noted in the description field for each Appointment Book.
From 1948 onwards, the list of Wellcome products is removed and replace with a description of the aims of the Wellcome Foundation.
