Description

Contains 114 Post Mortem Reports detailing date of examination, patient name, age, cross reference to Case Book, cause of death, mental state, clinical summary, post mortem findings and histological report. Some reports are illustrated with drawings and diagrams. There are several printed Post Mortem Summary forms appended to the volume in addition to a report and in some cases in place of a report. These forms provide patient details, cause of death, and post mortem examination findings. Volume is indexed at the front. Loose items found in this volume: 1) Manuscript notes on a patient's mental condition and physical state, n.d. 2) Letter from Dr Walmsley, The Queen's University of Belfast to Dr Wyllie, Pathologist, Crichton Royal, regarding findings of a post mortem examination, 5 March 1930 3) Letter to Dr Lees from unknown author written on Crichton Royal note paper, regarding two patient cases of G.P.I. treated by malarial therapy, 10 February 1933 4) Manuscript patient laboratory results, May 1933 5) Two manuscript notes relating to the same patient regarding post mortem examination, n.d.
