Letters from House Steward, Mr Alexander Campbell, 31 March to 10 September 1942, numbered 4128-4611, and indexed by addressee. They concern all matters dealt with by the House Steward including stocks and supplies, staff management and accounts. Letters relate to topics including ration books for patients, permits and orders for foodstuffs and materials, requests for invoices, enquiries and issues regarding goods supplied; adverts for situations vacant, letters to unsuccessful candidates for posts, and details of pocket money issued to Bangour Hospital patients.
