Abrégé de matière médicale. This MS. contains the 'Matière médicale interne' only, and is tentatively entered as by Nicolas Fournier, though the text differs from that of the two later 'Abrégés' (MSS. 2428 and 2431), but in this MS. also the contents closely resembles that of Fournier's 'Traité complète de matière médicale.' On the recto of the first leaf: 'A Montpelier ce vingt cinq mars mil sept cents quarante quatre', and below: 'Ex libris Ludovici de Larcher', who is probably the writer of this MS. Produced in Montpellier.

The author obtained his M.D. at Montpellier, and later became physician to the Hôpital de la Charité in Paris. He was towards the end of his career Inspecteur des Eaux minérales de France.
