I I kanziska Kornmeier, of Fischingen, Canton Thurgan, Switzerland (Jo hereby declare the nature of this invention to be as follows :— The object of this invention is to provide a simple an 1 effective appliance for the collection of discharges from the human body particularly menstrual discharges. ihe appliance comprises a pouch or receptacle provided with belts or bands for its attachment. The pouch or receptacle is made of pliable material, such as textile fabric, knitted goods or the like and has a front and a back flap. It will be readily seen from the drawings how the appliance is to be worn, the belt being fastened round the waist and the pouch or receptacle being buttoned or otherwise attached to the straps or holders y, y. If desired there can be placed in the pouch or receptacle absorbent or antiseptic material (such as sponge, wood wool or the like). Ihe appliance hereinabove described is found to exceed in comfort all those already in use having a similar object, its adoption ensures cleanliness, and is a protection against cold.
