Description
Border decorations show the arts (of agriculture, music, mathematics etc.) which have arisen since Adam and Eve tasted of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; Adam holding a threshing flail, Eve, holding a distaff, and the snake with an apple in its mouth
