Purchased 1935.

Biographical note

Signed on the title-page by the author who had graduated as surgeon at Lyons in 1764, and was a maître-chirurgien in 1769. He was against the Revolution, and was assassinated in 1797 in Lyons where he had been born and where he had practised.
