Monro, Alexander (1697-1767)

Lectures on Anatomy. Holograph notes taken down by Sir Charles Blagden [1748-1820] when a student at Edinburgh University. This MS. is tentatively dated as above, as it seems to be contemporary with Blagden's notes of Cullen's 'Lectures on Chemistry' which are thus dated. It begins on 'Nov. 4' (p. 1) and ends on 'May 9', but the year is not given. Lectures 106 to 125 are entered only in epitomes. Produced in Edinburgh.

1 volume 290 pp. + 1 bl. l. 4to. 23 × 18 1/2 cm. Unbound. Pp. 5-16 are wanting, and the first two leaves are defective.
