This file includes correspondence from towards the end of McMichael's life, when he was in a nursing home near Oxford. The material reflects Lady McMichael's efforts to protect her husband from being overwhelmed by the information that was still being sent to him, whilst ensuring that he did not feel as though he was forgotten simply because he was unable to actively participate in professional matters.
