An interview conducted at the University of Texas Cancer Center, Galveston, 14 April, 1981. Interviewers: Dr Robert C Hickey, Vice President and Director of University of Texas Cancer Center, and Dr R Lee Clark, President Emeritus, University of Texas Cancer Center.

Doll discusses the forthcoming opening of Green College, Oxford (Doll was to be its first Warden) and the British university collegiate system in general, before reviewing the epidemiology of cancer and current trends (e.g. the emerging importance of dietary factors).
