Biographical note
Between Feb 1933 and Sep 1938 this Committee held joint meetings with the Examinations Committee. Between Sep 1939 and Jan 1943 its work was taken over by the Emergency General Powers Committee. In 1952 this Committee was amalgamated with the Education Committee to form the Education and Examination Committee.
