David Duncan (fl. 1944-), a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), has an MA in Psychology, Philosophy and Economics from St. Andrews University. He worked with the National Institute of Industrial Psychology from 1953, and worked on candidate assessment for Management Selection (Group) Ltd from 1960, before moving to Team (Management Appointments) Ltd in 1972.

From the early 1970s, Duncan played a leading part in the emergence of the BPS Division of Occupational Psychology and of the press relations function within the BPS. Duncan has been a Senior Assessor within the BPS Division of Occupational Psychology for several years.
