Description
The Committee on Influenza and other Respiratory Virus Vaccines (MRC) was concerned with trials of vaccines prepared from live attenuated influenza viruses.
The early work of the Trials subcommittee, chaired since 1969 by Tyrrell, was largely devoted to studies of the laboratory characteristics of viruses attenuated by various procedures and tested on relatively small numbers of volunteers.
Includes correspondence relating to the Trials Subcommittee, including drafts of a report on the activities of the Committee, 1975.
