Papers mainly relating to an application by Rosen (representing Paddington Centre for Psychotherapy) and Dr Robert G. Priest of St Mary's Hospital Medical School for funds towards the foundation of a Chair of Psychosomatic Medicine at St Mary's Hospital Medical School London. The application was made to the Marks and Spencer Charity and Appeals Committee, encouraged by Dr Taylor, the Chief Medical Office of M&S. Plus various newspaper cuttings relating to stress related illnesses and and their increase (e.g. heart disease, depression, schizophrenia), and some journal articles.
