Description

Universae praxeos tractatus mecanice expositus. After p. 20 of the first part is an inserted engraved portrait of St. Aloysius Gonzaga, and before the third section an engraved picture of the Virgin Mary. Notes taken down by Nicolo Maresca at the Regio Liceo at Naples [cf. preceding MS.]. At the end of the first and third sections there are poems in Italian by the compiler. On the penultimate leaf are particulars of the births of Maresca's six children between 1771 and 1785. A further list of his grandchildren, by another hand contains entries from 1808 to 1820. Produced in Naples.
