Description
During and immediately after her enquiry, Savage appeared in several media. She wrote extensively about her experience, publishing her writings in the 1986 book A Savage Enquiry: Who Controls Childbirth? (see PP/WDS/A.7/1).
She also worked with news outlets to publicise her experience and lecture on topics such as midwives vs obstetricians, nature vs technology, training of obstetricians etc. (see PP/WDS/A.7/3 and also PP/WDS/F.4).
