Description

Broadside describing the murder by drowning of the 5 months pregnant Eliza Anthony in the River Thames by William Britton Dyson, his arrest and incarceration in Newgate Prison pending final sentencing. A woodcut of Dyson is at the top and a coffin at the bottom of the sheet. "Printed at J. Pitt's Wholesale Town [?] and marble [?] Warehouse, 6, Great St. Andrew Street, 7 Dials [London]."
