Wellcome 1988 Calendar

Wellcome desk calendar containing illustrations of fruit and spices (for instance: Mulberry, Black Pepper and Quince), which are reproductions of copperplate engravings from a work entitled Flora Medica (London, 1829-1830).

An extract from the original text, quoting the medicinal value of the plants as perceived in the early nineteenth century, is reproduced on the reverse of each leaf. Advertisements for Wellcome products are also contained throughout.
