Description

File consists of photographs and seminar photograph related documents. The photographs consist of 20 pictures supplied by The Very Revd Edward Shotter but no seminar photographs or paper copies of photographs taken at the seminar. The seminar was on , "Medical Ethics Education in Britain, 1963-1993", which was held at the Wellcome Trust Centre for the History of Medicine at UCL, on 9 May 2006. The seminar was part of the Wellcome Witnesses to Twentieth Century Medicine meetings also known as the Witness Seminars. The transcript of this seminar was published as Volume 31 of the Witness Seminar series, L.A. Reynolds and E.M. Tansey (editors), Medical Ethics Education in Britain, 1963-1993, (London: Wellcome Trust, 2007). Unlike most seminars there are no paper copies of the photographs taken. Documents include:

Listing of each photograph taken by reference number (DSC0002.tif to DSC0085.tif) listing the people in each seminar photograph.

Paper copy of the illustrations used in the published volume.

Digital images of the pictures taken at the seminar are held by the copyright owner, Wellcome Images.

Photographs taken at the 18th IME (Institute of Medical Ethics) Annual Conference titled, "The Creative Urge", 3-7 February 1981.

Photographs taken at the launch of the Journal of Medical Ethics.

Photographs taken at various IME conferences between 1974 and 1977.
