Organisation Working Party/Steering Committee

In 1960 a Working Party was set up under the Chairmanship of Professor François Lafitte of the Social Study department, Birmingham University, to review the aims and objects and organisation of the Family Planning Association. Its report Family Planning in the Sixties was published in September 1963. An Exploratory Committee was set up to consider its recommendations and a Steering Committee to carry out the re-organisation of the Association.
