Minute Book: Board of Directors, AGMs, EGMs

This volume contains minutes of meetings of the board of directors, EGMs, and AGMs for the company. There are also some related papers such as reports.

Meetings took place on an irregular basis, and there is more evidence of AGMs than board meetings towards the end of the volume. The last entry is a copy memo, dated 1964, from Coopers in Berkhamsted, requesting copies of any minutes taken over the previous two years, as they had received nothing.

Matters discussed at meetings are normally only those required for statutory purposes. Early on the volume, minutes discuss other matters such as the administration of the company, its premises and products, and relations with other companies.

There is an index at the front of the volume.

The documents contained in the volume are mostly translated into English from the original (presumably Portugese).
