The file includes a paper from the Habitability Sub-Committee regarding "the recent disaster to the USS Franklin, where there were a very large number of casualties, a considerable portion of whom showed apparently no external signs of injury, and were the result of heat, asphyxia or the effects of smoke or other noxious gases."
The file also includes a note ('Cordite Fume Trials') and a questionnaire on cordite poisoning.
