Description

Certificate issued in 1828 by the Maltese government certifying the passengers and crew have departed from a place free of plague and were healthy when leaving. Inlcudes spaces for the names of crew and passengers to be listed. The arms King George are at the top. In this instance the certificate has been signed by Sir Frederick Hankey (1800-1855) and was for the ship Immacolata en route to Calabria.
