Leaflet advertising George Jones' Friendly Pills, Balsam and Electuary. These were supposed to cure: scurvy, lameness, stone, dropsy, gonorrhoea and other venereal diseases, urinary disorders, ulcers, worms, constipation, gangrene, pain, cough, ague (malaria), consumption (pulmonary tuberculosis), miscarriage, blindness, flatulence, burns, scalds, asthma, sleep disorders and back pain.
