This volume contains minutes of meetings of the board, and minutes and some papers, for Annual General Meetings of Shareholders. Meetings of the board generally took place monthly, occasionally at shorter intervals and sometimes with longer breaks, particularly at the end of the second volume.

Matters discussed include the appointment of directors and staff, market conditions and the performance of the company, specific products - and their success or failure, as well as general administrative points. There is no information of an especially sensitive nature, although some mention is made of staff salary levels and remuneration received by directors.

The purchase of a minority stake in Min-A-Vit Pty Ltd is noted on p. 22. The company may already have owned a majority stake.

J K Wilson and A D Robertson attend the meeting of 7 Mar 1961 (p. 53).

A donation to the Liberal Party is noted on p. 60.

A donation to assist in the establishment of a Chair of Veterinary Clinical Studies at the University of Queensland is noted on p. 96.

Discussions about diversification take place at Board Meetings on 9 Sep 1965 (p. 144) and 22 Sep 1965 (p. 145).
