    REPOET OF THE COMMITTEE OF VISITORS OF THE (Pntrattt Xtatir astjhrm at Taarasbt, TO THE ^Adjourned Annual General Session held the 5th day of January, 1859. # To Her Majesty s Justices of the Peace for the County of Lancaster, in General Session assembled. Your Committee, in presenting its Annual Report, has again the pleasure to state that the Asylum, by its satisfactory condition, proves that it continues under its usual careful management 3 and it is with thankfulness your Committee adds, that during the past year the health of the patients has been uniformly good, and the Asylum free from any infectious complaint, with the exception of a case of small pox, with which a patient from Liverpool was attacked a few days after his admission 3 and notwithstanding the precautionary measures immediately adopted, two other patients took the disease, but happily in a mild form.
