Correspondence of Society senior officers notably Peter Carter, Honorary Secretary, on various topics.

Includes: correspondence relating to Michael Carr-Jones leaving the office of chairman, the draft design of the Society's registration form asking members for detailed information on impairment, medical treatment and, educational establishments used by their thalidomide children.

Also includes information about the first international congress for thalidomide parents, held in Cologne, Germany, 19-20th June 1965, where the International Parents Organisation (IPO) was founded. There are typescript reports on the visit to Germany, as well as of a visit to Northern Ireland.
