Description
Medical education concerned Lord Moran throughout his life, both as Dean of St Mary's Hospital Medical School and later as President of the Royal College of Physicians. He published 'The Student in Irons' [BMJ, 1932] on the inadequacy of medical teaching methods. [For correspondence about this, see L.5, also H.18/2].
