Description

Bibliothèque alchimique: Tome I. Holograph MS. by Poisson of his translations from Latin of 14 short alchemical tracts, and two original works on Alchemy. Included are two translated works, a copy of a short tract, and a Table of Contents by Emmanuel Lalande, written under the pseudonym of 'Marc Haven'. Some title pages are in coloured inks: there are a few pen-drawn symbolic figures. The first 13 tracts and No. 17 are written by Poisson, as well as his own two articles (Nos. 14, 15). Contents: Produced in Paris and Lyons.
