24 autograph letters by Parry, mainly signed but some in the third person. Correspondents include "Mrs. Charles Burney", Greenwich (presumably the wife or daughter-in-law of the classicist and educator Charles Burney (1757-1817)) (no.4), the Irish antiquary Thomas Crofton Croker (1798-1854) (nos.6, 8 and 12); Rear-Admiral Sir Francis Beaufort F.R.S. (1774-1857), hydrographer, concerning a manuscript from the eighteenth century on Captain William Coats' voyages to Hudson's Bay (no.14) (no.13) also concerns manuscript accounts of Arctic voyages); the geographer Sir Roderick Impey Murchison (1792-1871) (no.15); and the botanist William Gourlie (1815-1856) (nos.16 and 17). No.24 only fagmentary.
