<p>Direct mail card advertising "Actal, the ideal antacid for post-prandial pains... 360mg. sodium polyhydroxyaluminium monocarbonate hexitol complex". This would have been sent out to general practitioners in the mid 1960s. The front shows a fat man in the grips of indigestion lying back in a chair, party hat on his head, table of empty plates and half-eaten Christmas pudding next to him. There was originally a tear-off postcard attatched to request samples and more information.</p>
