Purchased from: an unknown vendor, Paris, April 1930 (acc.67391); Stevens, London, December 1931 (acc. 68289); Sotheby's, London, November 1933 (acc.67468); Mrs. Watson, Burnley, March 1945 (acc.72200), presumably once part of the Thomas Madden Stone autograph collection. No.1 found inside the Library's copy of Physical description of New South Wales and Van Diemen's Land. Accompanied by a geological map, sections and diagrams, and figures of the organic remains (London, 1845) by Sir Paul Edmond de Strzelecki (1796-1873) (Early Printed Books collection, EPB 50019/B), purchased from Phillips, Son & Neale, Milton Abbey, September 1932 (acc.81177). Acquisition details of no.8 not known, accessioned May 1938 (acc.89255).
