Meningococcal peritonitis (for comparison). 'Pterygoid ulcers' on soft palate in influenza (etc). Pneumonia (including senile pneumonia) pleurisy and empyema--chiefly pneumococcal origin--diagnosis, symptoms, etc. Diaphragmatic pleurisy and subphrenic abscess.
