This file has been studied in detail by the archivist for the Melanie Klein Trust. They can find no mention of any child who could be Klein's son or daughter in this file. Melitta, Klein's daughter, was misidentified here; Klein uses Melitta's old notebook at the time when Melitta was at medical school, no longer a child. When Erich, Klein son, is studied he is always referred to as "Fritz" and there is no Fritz in this file. There is clear evidence in Klein's published writings that Erich was analysed and appears to be no evidence that Klein analysed her daughter.
