About this work

Description

The object of the Dale and Rushton Funds was to promote new physiological research in the UK and Ireland. The funds enabled physiologists to visit another laboratory for collaborative research, to acquire/teach new techniques, or to attend a practical workshop or training course. The Dale Fund was available to physiologists working in the British Isles and also allowed them to attend and present at scientific conferences. The Rushton Fund was awarded to young physiologists working in the British Isles who were not members of the Society and who did not have more than six years postdoctoral experience.
