Description

A painting in Rita Simon's Traditional Massive style, depicting the crucifixion. Painted by a man who Rita Simon stated painted it in, "a typical Traditional Massive painting including space and a sad story. The little figures are not lost. On the verso "Make a scribble that could be turned into a doodle".

The title has been taken from notes made during conversations between Rita Simon and Wellcome staff between 1995 and 1997.

The date has been taken from an inscription on the artwork.
