Description
The company's reaction to a boycott of goods manufactured, or apparently manufactured, in South Africa is recorded on p. 110 & p. 112. The boycott may have been in response to the Sharpeville killings in March 1960, and the consequent state of emergency in the South Africa.
A meeting between the company and some competitors (Klipfontein Organic Products (KOP), Agricura) concerning the fixing of wholesale and retail prices is documented on p. 26. The meeting took place in Feb 1958.
