Description

Headed "A Case of Hydrophobia admitted into the Infirmary August 12th, 1762." A detailed clinical history of the case of a girl aged nine who was admitted after being bitten on the cheek by a dog. The patient lived until 25th September. There is a report (in Latin) on the post-mortem by "Mr. Morgan Studt." [Probably John Morgan of Pennsylvania, who graduated the following year and became one of the pioneers of medicine in America].
