About this work

Description

For information on the acquisition of, and transactions relating to, Bleasdale's Fields see RET 2/1/21/ and RET 2/2/10/2-3. The remaining part of Bleasdale's Fields was leased to the Council as allotments in 1913, part of the drive to grow more food during the First World War. This arrangement was continued after the War, and this file of papers deals with the arrangements made to do so.
