Correspondence between Air Commodore Macintosh and Squadron Leader R. E. Angel, anaesthetist mainly relating to Angel obtaining medical supplies and drugs and the problems he encountered, whilst based at the following RAF Hospitals 1942-1945: Reykjavik, Iceland; Northallerton, Ponytypridd, Glamorgan; Cosford, Wolverhampton.

Includes a covering letter from Macintosh to Angel in 1961 returning the correspondence to him and an obituary of Angel by Michael T Inman, 1995.
