The Wolfenden Report: NCT evidence to the Committee on Voluntary Organisations

A Committee of Enquiry was established in 1974, chaired by Lord Wolfenden, to consider the role and functions of voluntary organisations in the UK in the last quarter of the 20th century. Papers include evidence from the National Childbirth Trust to the Committee on Voluntary Organisations, and related correspondence and papers, including a draft of "The Government and the Voluntary Sector: a consultative document" (1978). Also includes correspondence regarding evidence from NCT on the Royal Commission on the NHS, 1976.
