Papers relating to publications on children’s health and moral development, and school hygiene produced by Edgar Henry Wilkins (Wilkins’ father) in his role as Chief Medical Inspector of Schools, Wellington, New Zealand, and Assistant School Medical Officer, Birmingham, UK, including: reports, publications and lectures by Edgar Wilkins; photographic negatives of scenes in Birmingham taken in the early 1940s; letters written to Edgar Wilkins relating to his publications. Also booklet, Vegetarian athletics, by Henry Light (Vegetarian Society, Manchester, 1921), annotated on cover ‘With the author’s compliments’ (Edgar Wilkins was a keen vegetarian).
