Project Summary:Of All The People In All The World is a performance installation that uses 120 tons of rice - one grain for each person on the planet - to show human population statistics in a powerful and tangible way. Over the course of three weeks, a team of performers will create shifting, mountainous landscapes of rice. Their labelled piles will tell emotive stories of human crisis and endeavour, including a significant focus on how biomedical science has influenced and continues to influence our lives, its achievements to date and the challenges it faces.
