Description
Minutes of AGMs 1938-1953 are included at the back of the volume.
The remaining minutes are from meetings of the board of directors, which took place three or four times per year for the most part, even during wartime.
The meetings deal with the administration of the company, directors' emoluments, the payments of bonuses, the performance of the company, the state of the market, and other related matters. Some mention is made of specific products, eg. Coopers Household Fly Spray (p. 86), Pynol (pp. 48, 56, 63).
The minutes do contain information on allowances paid to retired employees and their surviving spouses, and on bonus payments etc., but otherwise there is little personal information in the volume.
