Marrett corresponded with Mourant until his death and Mourant remained in contact with his wife, Nora. Material dates from 1927-1942 and 1950.

Biographical note

Marrett was a Channel Islander and the principal early excavator of La Cotte de St Brelade on Jersey. He was a Fellow of Exeter College Oxford, Reader in Social Anthropology and became Rector of the College.
