Biographical note
Sir Charles Wilson was a member of the British Delegation under Lord Beaverbrook, Minister of Supply, to Moscow in October 1941; his role was to assess medical help needed and he chaired the medical supplies committee co-ordinating the transport of huge quantities of medical supplies to Russia.
