Description

For comparison with Simmonds's pituitary cachexia, etc.. Fanconi's familial anaemic syndrome and Allen and McCullough's Williamson family in Belfast. Alopecia totalis with hyposexuality and mental depression--and possibly hypochlorhydria? Syndrome of primary ovarian insufficiency with small stature and sometimes deficiency in axillary and pubic hair--and sometimes 'webbing of the neck' (allied to 'Turner's syndrome) coarction of the aorta. re deficiency of facial hair (and pubic hair?) in young males. Also hypogonadism (in male) with pruritis and uncertain anaemia (?familial). Also the whole subject of familial anaemia (children) with or without infantilism, dwarfism, or hypogonadism, sometimes with various congenital abnormalities. Syndrome of otorhinophygma, pruritis and alopecia totalis. Dates of material: 1916, 1926-1949.
