About this work

Description

From Anthony Norden and Michela Wrong's Guide to the Catalogue: Despite his close personal links with Oxford (his grandfather A. L. Smith was the Master of Balliol) and his huge personal fondness for Magdalen College, where he both born and later studied as an undergraduate, Wrong took a critical view of much of the Oxford Medical establishment, believing it prone to complacency. This material on Oxford medical alumni should be assessed alongside his publication on the Oxford Clinical School [11]. Wrong's views did not prevent him regularly attending alumni events at Magdalen College, whose chapel also holds a brass plaque in memory of his vice-president father, and his ashes were scattered in the meadows at his family's request."
