2 autograph letters, signed, comprising one concerning the plants of Java (no. 48) and one written at Bencoolen (Bengkulu, Sumatra) to Nathaniel Wallich F.R.S. (1786-1854), Danish surgeon and botanist, superintendant of the Calcutta Botanic Gardens, concerning the death of Captain Salmond (no. 49).
