Biographical note

David James Hamilton (1849-1909) was professor of pathology at Aberdeen University from 1882, and was elected F.R.S. in 1908. For further biographical information see the Dictionary of National Biography. George Washington Isaac (1857-1931) qualified at Edinburgh in 1882, and practised in Bloomsbury, London.
